It took alot of trials and errors, all in all i think it took an hour or so. But its a funny process since theres always randomness and impossible to replicate something 100%, so every one of the failed shots are my babies as well
Nope, I usually get my creativitykicks in the middle of the night, but it was summertime so a little light outside. Almost total darkness inside though, or you won´t be able to control what to show on the pic...
Not to sound uppity or anything here, but...looking at his aperture and shutter speed, 30 seconds at 3.5 would have been blown out the sensor during the day. And then underneath there it says it was taken on Jul. 5th, 2007 at 2:42 AM. The camera data box is marvelous. Great for trying to replicate difficult shots.
By the way, amazing shot. That took some skill, I bet.
it took some trials and errors, but in the end I owe it all to a timer, 30 seconds exposure and a flashlight to control what to show, and while youre posing you can "paint", and choose what will end up on film by lighting the things you want
Do let me know if youre inspired to try it yourself, its alot of fun!
